Adriana’s path to healing work has always been rooted in curiosity, compassion, and service. Her early experiences interning at a chemotherapy clinic, volunteering with underserved communities, and working in cancer research and animal care laid the foundation for her inclusive, trauma-informed approach.
A lifelong student of nature, she also spent time in a plant cloning lab, where she witnessed the profound intelligence of living systems, a perspective that continues to shape her respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal. Coming from a deeply rooted Peruvian family, Adriana's lineage includes her great-grandfather, Guillermo Almenara Igoyen, a medical doctor and Amazonian medicinal plant researcher who founded Lima’s National Hospital.
Inspired by this legacy of service, creativity, and traditional healing, Adriana approaches her work with a deep sense of responsibility and dedication. She welcomes all individuals into her treatment room, offering a supportive space for healing on all levels. Each session is tailored to the patient’s unique needs and guided by the principles of Classical Chinese Medicine and Five-Element Acupuncture, honoring the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit.
