Dr. Angie Elliot is a caring and out of the box thinking medical professional. Starting in late 2007, I had been having medical issues that have inferred with my ability to work and function in life, and as a result have seen many medical providers.
She has helped me go from being sick where I was only able to function enough to work every other week, to a flare-up 1x or 2x a month for about a day. My nightly sleep has gone from 2 ½ hours to 5 ½ - 6 hours a night. I am still making forward progress on these issues.
I really appreciate her.
Angie won my trust right away with her kind, gentle, and skillful acupuncture treatments. This unreserved recommendation is coming from a lifelong needle-phobic senior seeking treatment for chronic back and neck pain. Along with regular acupuncture treatments, she also helped me with numerous other ongoing medical issues including relief of bothersome post menopausal symptoms.
She also came up with some tips to significantly reduce acid reflux that I can use whenever necessary. As a skillful naturopath, she was always aware and respectful of my desire to try to minimize supplements and diet adjustments as part of my treatment. Last but not least, she is not only well qualified but also delightful to work with.
It's difficult to put into words how impactful Angie's skill, nurturance and guidance have been for me. Firstly, I would like to address her skill. She is extremely competent at what she does, knowing all of the points and meridians inside out and using sharp intuition to find the context-specific channels for healing.
She takes a holistic approach – and I truly mean exhaustive, leaving no stone left unturned to find the keys in the body to alleviate pain, discomfort and suffering. Secondly, she is the kindest person I have ever met. I say that with no hesitation, and this definitely factors into her abilities as a naturopathic doctor. I will be headed to her clinic in Vancouver because I would like for her to be my healer for life.
