Dr. Sara Danko is a licensed naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist passionate about quality healthcare for all people. Prior to studying medicine Dr. Danko did social work in their community and brings a trauma-informed lens to their practice.
They completed their medical training at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, graduating with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and a Master in Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization. Driven by a passion for bringing holistic care and healing to all people, Dr. Danko looks forward to fostering empathy, optimism, and curiosity throughout your healing journey.

Specializing in lifestyle medicine, mental health conditions, LGBTQIA+ care, fertility, and general health conditions. Dr. Danko believes in treating these conditions through partnership with patients, emphasizing relationship-building and collaboration in the healing process from a trauma-informed and Health at Every Size® (HAES®) perspective.
Dr. Danko incorporates both gentle and pragmatic treatment modalities, including hands-on therapies, acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, supplements, and medications, as appropriate. With extensive training in botanical medicine and a commitment to compassionate, whole-person care, Dr. Danko delights in working with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their care is accessible and comfortable for all across the gender spectrum.
In the treatment room, Dr. Danko provides individualized, integrative care that meets patients where they are, blending traditional and modern approaches. Outside the clinic, you may find Dr. Danko walking trails with their dog, cooking up vegan meals, or working on a new fermentation project in the kitchen. Dr. Danko is currently learning Spanish and German and enjoys being a life-long learner.
